Montefiore Conca

Montefiore Conca is a small village in the hinterland of Rimini, once an important outpost of the Malatesta with a majestic fortress which dominates the entire surrounding area.

Montefiore however is not only famous for its beautiful fortress but also for the famous Shrine to the Virgin Mary (which each year is visited by thousands of believers) where there is an ancient painting of the Madonna nursing her son.

Rimini and its beaches

Rimini is the largest and most populous center of the Adriatic Riviera and is a summer resort of international renown that extends for 15 km along the coast of the Adriatic Sea with hotels, night clubs, bathing and sport facilities.

Tourism development, initiated in 1843 with the founding of the first Bath, established itself definitively in the next century, losing its original aristocratic connotation and worldly becoming a mass phenomenon.

San Marino

The Serenissima Republic of San Marino is a small country located on the lanbd border between the provinces of Rimini and Pesaro and Urbino.

Since 2008, the historic city of San Marino and Mount Titano were included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List as “testimony to the continuity of a free republic since the 13th century.”

Riccione's Aquafan

Aquafan is one of the first water parks built in Italy and is the most famous structure of its kind in Europe. Inside there is the famous wave pool: the large pool of the park, which covers an area of 2,800 square meters and reaches its deepest point over 3 meters high, with a total capacity of 3,300 cubic meters of water.

The wave pool is named to artificially re-created waves using a special computer. The timing of the waves is predicted by the sound of the bell, that every hour draws guests in the large pool that over the years has become one of the unmissable events Aquafan.

Urbino

Urbino is a beautiful Renaissance town that enjoys a scenic location between two hills and with its narrow streets, its houses and its walls still has its five hundred years ago character. Today it is home to one of the most important universities of Europe (1507), once the residence of the Dukes of Urbino, and has a lively historical surrounded by high walls.

Misano World Circuit

The Misano World Circuit is a motor racing circuit located in the town of Misano Adriatico in the province of Rimini and is named in memory of Marco Simoncelli, a young Italian rider who died in 2011.

As of the 1991 motorsport season Misano hosts on this track the traditional race of the World Superbike Championship and in 2007 the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini MotoGP.

Gradara

The hill of Gradara, a land border between Marche and Romagna, is overlooked by the impressive fortress surrounded by a small medieval village and a double wall.
Place of pleasant delights since ancient times, so as to derive its name from “grata aura” (fresh air), Gradara offers its visitors memories of centuries of history in an evocative medieval setting.
